i have always wanted to work more with china paint. about 6 years ago, i bought a bunch of china paints and promptly tucked them away and never took advantage of them. well...the TIME is NOW!
linda lighton, ceramic sculptor and my studio landlord, offered to give a few of us a china painting afternoon workshop on monday. it was a lovely break from the daily grind.
my drawing/painting skills are not so great...but i can draw like a champ with a squeeze bottle. this super sweet ink pen does WONDERS with applying china paint. look at the fine line...i love it! word on the street...the more violin looking the pen, the better.
after the meat slices are fired, i think i'll go back and china paint in the meaty color.
